Being able to build your own website without writing all of the code is amazing. I had an opportunity to work with wix.com and weebly.com, two free website building sites. I was surprised at how user friendly and easy they were to work with. Its nice to know that those options are available and FREE! Having this great technology at your fingertips is a total blessing. If you are starting a small business or want to make a website for fun, free website builders are your ticket.

Pod-casts and You
Have you ever dreamed of having your own radio or talk show? A podcast is your way to make that dream happen. Pod-casting has blown up in recent years and become a great medium where you can get creative and have fun. Broadcast your thoughts with style with a podcast created with your own unique touch. Pod-casting can bring in money if you work at it. Pod-casts are a great way to learn about various topics without time constraints or having to "tune in" to radio. Below is a fun fact that shows why pod-casts are for you."Maybe it’s the intimacy of hearing soothing voices piped into your ears through a pair of headphones — or maybe it’s just how much time people need to kill listening to something. Americans spend more than three hours a day commuting, working out and doing household chores that can be accompanied by audio entertainment, according to census data studied by Matt Lieber"

Fortunately we live in 2015 and technology is available with a few clicks. I have been working with a great free audio editing program called audacity. This program is free and fairly simple to use. Audacity allows you to build your own podcast from the ground up. Below is a link to a free download as well as a video on how to podcast with Audacity.
Editing the audio only works when you have audio to edit, so a few helpful tools include: a microphone (for quick voice recording), sound proof room (or as quiet as possible), a script to read from to make it easy on yourself, and a good attitude. It can be frustrated at first when working with new technologies, but hang in there. Audacity is pretty easy to use and you can do a lot of cool things fairly quickly. Some essential parts of a great podcast include sound effects and music.
